 Your own shadow may be the only thing you can see as you follow God's will.

 Enter ye in at  the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to distrution, and many there be which go in thereat. Because straight is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it {Matthew 7:13,14}.

Give Thanks to the Lord!

O give thanks to the Lord of lords: for his mercy endureth forever. {Psalms 136:3}

Thanksgiving Holiday in America is celebrated with friends and family and lots of food. Traditionally, we reflect on things we are thankful for during the year and past years. This year has brought many difficulties. Our lives as we knew before the 2020 COVID-19 Pandemic most likely will forever be changed. Not only have we fought a pandemic but also, we have had Political Election Division and racial unrest that has split our great nation in half often pitting family and friends against each other. In these troubling times, it is so important that we rely on our faith in The Lord to carry us. The love of God is healing for your life and your eternal inheritance. Spending time in God’s presence through prayer and Bible study will renew your mind enabling you to think differently about yourself and others around you. Regardless of your circumstances and events going on in the world, give thanks for everything so that you do not lose your joy and quench the Holy Spirit.

It is a good thing to give thanks unto the Lord, and to sing praises unto thy name, O Most High. {Psalm 92:1}

I challenge you to find the silver lining in the storms that 2020 may have brought you. Even as difficult as the year has been, there has been many positive things that have come from the challenges. Many I know were given an unexpected chance to slow down and spend more time with their family. What will your family, children and friends remember from this year? Will they see the light of Christ in you?

{1 Thessalonians 5:14-22} 14 Now we exhort you, brethren, warn them that are unruly, comfort the feebleminded, support the weak, be patient toward all men.

15 See that none render evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men.

16 Rejoice evermore.

17 Pray without ceasing.

18 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

19 Quench not the Spirit.

20 Despise not prophesyings.

21 Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.

22 Abstain from all appearance of evil.

So, this Thanksgiving give thanks! Give thanks unto the Lord for your eternal inheritance which is the promise by faith in Jesus Christ given to those who believe. Are you an Ambassador for Christ?

Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us. {2 Corinthians 3:20}

Thanks to Ambassador Ray K. Payne for asking me to contribute to the website this Thanksgiving.

Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms. {Psalms 95:2}

Be thankful!
