 Your own shadow may be the only thing you can see as you follow God's will.

 Enter ye in at  the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to distrution, and many there be which go in thereat. Because straight is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it {Matthew 7:13,14}.

Am I a Baby part 2

Not knowing who you are can makes you a victim...

The day you accept Jesus into your life, you belong to His church and you will receive other saints as family members. I can still remember the day I was taken into the family of God; I really believed that those new people in the church really wanted me there. The Word says:

For ye are all children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. {Gal 3:26}

In a general sense, all men and women are the off springs of God in that he is the creator

For in him we live and move and have our being, as certain also some of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring. {Acts 17:28,29}

This relationship, however, is not sufficient to offset the penalty of sin, because all persons are sinners separated from God. (Romans 3:23) For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God; therefore, for a sinful person to become a child of God, a miraculous transformation must take place. The Bible refers to this process as being born again:

Jesus answered and said unto them, verily, verily, I say unto thee, (you). Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. {John 3:3.}

When an individual places his faith in Christ as savior, he is born again into a new family relationship with God: God becomes your father.

For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear, but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. {Roman 8:15,16}

You will receive other Christians as your new brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus, in addition you become joint heirs with Christ.

And if children, then heirs - heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if so be that we suffer with him, that we may also be glorified together. {Romans 8:17}

This means as children to know His word and keep it will insure our position as heirs is safe; however, knowing God's will must not be thought of merely as finding a certain vocation in life. That aspect represents only a small part of God's will. Rather, the will of God is for everyone to live in conformity to His revealed will in His word. We must keep seeking principles from the word. The most important step is to believe Christ.

Jesus said, "and this is the will of him who sent me, that everyone which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life; and I will raise him up at the last day.” {John 6:40}

Oh, how wonderful, however if we don't take the first step, we will not be saved from judgment. If we do, then we will be saved forever by the word.

I John 2:17. There are clear statements of scripture which teach that God's will for every Christians includes sanctification, read them at your leisure.

A. Sanctification.................................. 1 Thess 1 5:23

B. Giving of thanks to God for you…. 1 Thess 5:18

C. Doing His will.................................... 1 Peter 2:15

D. Suffering............................................ 1 Peter 3:17

Remember, the Bible is God's will and has commands to be obeyed, because the wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 6:23. All principles are to be followed until Jesus comes for us on that great day. The Bible will establish our total thought life if we allow it to do so. Let’s read:

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you. {Philippians 4:8-9}

If need here are some additional superscript

(1.) 2 Peter 1:5-10. (2.) 1 Corinthians 14:33. (3.) 2 Corinthians 13:11. (4) Romans 15:33

This word shall:

1. Convict you..........Nem 8:9

2. Correct you...........Ps 17:4

3. Clean you..............Ps 119:9

4. Confirm you.........John 8:31

5. Equip you.............Proverbs

Please note, the word works if you let it.

Problems in the new life.

Just as we have problems in our physical lives, we also shall encounter them in our new life (Spiritual Life). Facing and conquering difficulties causes us to become bold as we are strengthened, through the word and power of the Lord. Whether physical or spiritual, as we go through the process that God has given us, we bring glory to Him as he demonstrates his faithfulness and that his grace is sufficient for every need.

And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me 2 Corinthians 12:9}

Some of the problems that are common in the new life are

A. Sin

B. Temptation

C. Suffering

D. Knowing the will of God

E. Knowing the will of doubt

A believer must be especially aware of places, situations and times in which he or she may be vulnerable to temptation. The best way to insure our safety from our weakness is to be a growing Christian. The mind that is occupied with the things of Lord cannot at the same time be susceptible to temptation. Please note, of all the possible sins against God, to be self-willed is certain death. God made it very clear in His Word not to put any trust in the flesh because it would let you down every time. Don't be like Satan who was kicked out of heaven because he wanted his will to be done through his flesh, Isaiah 14:12-15. Remember to keep the promises you made to the Lord of your own free will because there is danger in forgetting.

Be ye doers of the word and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. {James 1:22}

Most people are lost in the new life; simply because of a need to think for themsel

ves, they don't reject their past, so that old man slips back in through the cracks provided by a lack of knowledge.

Numbers 33:55 tells us, "But if you do not drive out the inhabitants of the land from before you; then it shall come to pass, that those which ye let remain of them shall be pricks in your eyes and thorns in your sides and shall vex you in the land wherein ye dwell."

Oh boy don't trust yourself, Trust the Holy Spirit to lead and guide you into all God's truth. He shall never let you down. Thank you, Jesus!

Advice from Godly Counselors

There will be many times in your new life when you must take a stand or make a tough decision but know this: God put Pastors on earth to help guard us through these hard times.

Where no council is, the people fall; but in the multitude of counselors there is safety. {Proverbs 11:14}

You will be guided through your troubled times by those who are your leaders. Who is qualified to guide us?

1. God..............................................................................Jeremiah 32:33

2. The Pastor................................................................Ephesians 4:11

3. Priest........(Minister not yet a pastor) ..........Deuteronomy 24:8

4. The Holy Spirit.......................................................John 14:26

5. Parent........................................................................Deuteronomy 6:6-25

I really pray that you understand, why it's is imperative to seek guidance only from a real counselor of God. The importance of Godly Authority:

Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God; the powers that are ordained of God. Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation. {Romans 13:1-2}

In other words, you as a new child in Christ must conform to what the Godly pastor advises you to do, because he is the watchman of your soul and must give an account for you on judgment day, and for your sake it should not be a bad one: Let's continue:

For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? Do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same. For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if though do that which is evil be, afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil. Wherefore ye must be subject, not only because of wrath, but for conscience sake. For this cause pay ye tribute also; for they are God's ministers, attending continually upon this very thing. Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honor to whom honor." {Romans 13:3-7}

Where do I fit in?

At this point I must make something very clear! There are many false pastors out there who will use the scriptures to whip and torment those who don't really know the Word; causing the weak to submit to their will. Please believe me when I tell you it’s running wild in many churches. But you always remember the Godly pastor will be there for you, because it’s one of his many responsibilities, but if for some reason you cannot get to your pastor, use your spiritual common sense, and remember that God works through our own minds and desires to do His will in us. When none of these principles seem to work, we must simply make the best possible decision, realizing that God will shut the door if it is not in His will.

Here are some important numbers you may want to acquire.

1. The Pastor

2. The Assistant Pastor

3. The Deacons

4. The Shepherd mother

5. The Church mothers

6. Teachers

7. Missionaries

8. Evangelist

9. The Prayer warriors

10. The Exalters

Remember this: all the above people should have a close and working relationship to the Biblical Pastor. If they are not connected through the vine, they cannot be any help at all. This is but one reason why we must never just find a church and then call it home because we feel good at that location. We must always pray and then wait on the Lord to lead us where we can be fed and nurtured as the Father intended. Following the Lord is not a feeling way, but rather it’s a Spiritual beacon that emanates from the Father in heaven.
